MUM
Album cover design for Icelanding folk band MUM. Previous to the album being released four of the songs that were to be on it were released as singles. The design was based on our belief that the music strongly refelcted the landscape of the band's home country. Four sleeves were created, two of them the singles, and the other two with the remaining songs on them, with all four sliding into a fifth dye-cut case. The typographic elements on the covers of the 7"s then filled the spaces on the box to complete the typographic cover. Main back cover foilblocked with all tracks, with each of the four sleeves also individually foilblocked. Four covers based on the four main elements of the Icelandic landscape, snow, grass, rock and water.
